Marlay Park

I dont do many fairs but I love the Summer Fair at Marlay Park in Rathfarnham in Dublin. Its a beautiful house with fabulous gardens. The house is not always open, so it a great opportunity to see the restoration and the house. Its now owned by the council and they are doing a great job. I love the walled gardens, we were lucky to have one growing up and it was my favourite place to be (now its just a window box for me!) There is always a great selection of Irish designers and creators showing their latest work and its a nice way of meeting the designers/artists responsible for them.
Tara from Slated (below in the music room ) and Susannagh Grogan scarves did a photoshoot for the Sunday Times there which was a great diversion from work one morning.
