Prints & prints

Any print/textile designer for fashion worth their salt will be familiar with Mary Katrantzou and her eclectic and prolific use of prints in her collections. She has already created two capsule collections for Topshop. In addition I was delighted to recently discover these beautiful photos of the collection by Erik Madigan Heck  on Helen James blog. They are, to me just stunning. I know these are photography but they have such a painterly feel. I would love more beautiful paintings on my walls but I have unfortunately expensive taste when it comes to art. I always thinkg that I would love to be able to visit more of the graduate shows in the summer as its a great way of finding some stunning yet affordable artwork.
