Anyone looking for an extremely luxurious break?

Susannagh Grogan scarves have just delivered a selection of scarves commissioned specially for Ballyfin house. Ballyfine has, according to its website, 'long been admired as the most lavish Regency mansion in Ireland'. After eight years of restoration, Ballyfin re-opened in May 2011 as a small country house hotel. The 600 acre estate boost fifteen rooms and the service will no doubt be exemplary.  http://www.ballyfin.com/Home.aspx

Its great to me to see this labour of love, there are not an abundance of grand historical houses here in Ireland and whilst I also admire truely modern (not merely 'new') I have a great respect for the preservation of all of our history. On a similar note the work of The Georgian Society http://www.igs.ie/ 'aims to encourage an interest in and to promote the conservation of distinguished examples of architecture and the allied arts of all periods in Ireland.'
